Kicking off in SY24-25, the NJROTC Area 8 South Region consists of units in the upstate of SC and parts of NC area. Easley, Boiling Springs, Laurens, Mauldin, McDowell, Pisgah, T.L. Hanna, and Wren High School Navy JROTC units coordinate competitions and participation in each other's competitive events to prepare for Area 8 championships in Drill, Air Rifle, Orienteering, and Academic "Brain Brawls".
