COLOR GUARD
The Color Guard presents the colors at school and community events when it is not competing at sanctioned drill meets against other NJROTC units. Although a team, serving on the Color Guard is a greater opportunity to show pride in our unit while serving our community. If joining you will be able to show your appreciation for not only your unit but also your country.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
TL Hanna NJROTC greatly enjoys giving back to our community. Through
donation collections, presenting colors, organizing Veterans services
and so much more, the cadets come together to bring good to Anderson. Throughout your time in ROTC you can earn community service hours for a ribbon to add to your ribbon rack. We do some community service with some of the students that are not in ROTC.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
The NJROTC program is designed to instill the building blocks that will help guide cadets in their futures after high school, whatever those futures may be. Through mentorship, structure, and leadership skills cadets come out of the NJROTC program with an understanding of personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment.
